The installation Hanging Forest is conceived as an international art project. Consisting of an optical and acoustic travel through time, from the symbiotic relationship between early human beings and the archaic forests, up to the crossroads of the present day.
The visitors find themselves in a forest hanging from the ceiling. Here they experience the appearance of the primal forest up to the threatening present day destruction of our environment, in fast motion. A focus is set on the relationship between the forest and mankind, within the varying facets of Human culture.
Through direct sensory awareness and a differentiated presentational concept, people will be able to experience the distinctive singularity of our planet earth.
Thus sharpening the awareness of the individual for our communal mother nature.
